A magical day yesterday raising money for LAP RESEARCH UK. I felt lucky to co-host this special event at the Gloucestshire Festival of Polo at Beaufort Polo Club and I am pleased to share that great money was raised from a record 350 VIP guests of note: including many from around the world and Royalty.
ULTRA (as part of our Summer Socials) had some tables and we were able to celebrate this international game of sport between England and New Zealand with Ultra members and supporters of note. Our next social event is in August…

As an Ambassador for the The Ivy Collection, it was lovely to welcome MD of Ivy, Ivy Asia, Bills and Harrys - Laura Mills and Ops Dir Gavin Gosnell to my table. They donated a truly incredible auction lot (Memberships of the stunning West Street and top private dining) TWICE! It raised thousands - twice!
Jamie Hosts Make-A-Wish Annual Fundraiser at Savoy Hotel
It was a wonderful event for the Make-A-Wish® UK annual fundraising event called A Night of Wishes. It was hosted at the Savoy and it was a truly magical evening. I sold all 50 wishes, all auction lots were sold and we realised more wonderful donations than we expected. It was an emotional evening as the compere Vernon Kay created a phenomenal atmosphere, Louise sang and guests were treated to a gospel choir. I took 20 minutes out before the event to enjoy the house cocktail at the world famous American Bar in this stunning hotel. Huge congratulations to all the volunteers for supporting those in very challenging circumstances.

In May Jamie hosted and was the auctioneer at the Secret Garden Ball for Bishops Stortford College. In July he was the host and auctioneer for the Hey Jude ball in Bournemouth. In October, he was the host and auctioneer at the MK Snap event. In October, he was the co-devisor and host of a 4 hour networking afternoon for Forwarder Events in Heathrow. A personal favourite for Jamie was an artwork selling for £80 in the reception, then being re-sold during the auction again for £5,000!

A week ago the first Amicus LIVE took place. Jamie was proud to be involved in this remarkable event where Amicus Ltd Co-Founders Jennifer Carnegie & General Sir Peter Wall had a searching conversation with the 26th U.S Secretary of Defence and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, General James Mattis. 88 leaders from across the world took part in what was essentially a private Zoom call with a world leader who tackled a number of questions from attendees and covered everything from business leadership advice to geo politics.

The Ben Ball is an annual fundraiser that is over 70 years old and sees the heads of the UK automotive industry gather to enjoy a gala dinner and raise funds for those who are struggling in the industry. Jamie was booked via ZiaBia events 8 months prior to be the event compere and also to conduct the auction.

The event is the annual gala fundraiser for Ben Automotive Industry Charity who provide welfare support for those in the sector.
